Dr. Kevin Kirsch is an educator, sports performance coach, physical therapist, and the founder of Blue Door Physical Therapy.

An athlete all his life, Kevin played multiple sports growing up and ultimately was able to play collegiate soccer at the Division 1 Level for Saint Joseph's University.

After college, he obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While in graduate school, he worked as a personal trainer and coach at a local Crossfit gym, CrossFit 215, and competed on their team at the Mid Atlantic CrossFit Regionals in 2012. He was fortunate enough to complete his last rotation of graduate school in Denver and permanently relocated to Colorado in 2015.

He has since transitioned his focus to helping other individuals achieve their goals. Kevin has been privileged to work with a variety of athletes competing at the state and national levels of soccer, track and field, lacrosse, football, powerlifting, ultra-running, and up to the international levels of triathlon, weightlifting, and CrossFit. In addition to treating patients and coaching, Kevin has worked as a staff member for Power Speed Endurance teaching the Art of Breath course at health and performance facilities around the country.

Kevin's goal is to help each client realize their individual potential by providing proper education, enhancing movement capacity, and instilling the right mindset on how to address injury and pain. It is his sincere belief that establishing a proper foundation of movement allows everyone to maximize their ability to enjoy life.

ACTIVE LIFESTYLE: You may not necessarily identify with being an athlete per se, but you are active! At least you were before limited mobility or injury slowed you down. Whether your chosen activity is taking the dogs for a walk, lifting weights, keeping up with your kids, doing yoga, or going skiing on the weekends, you deserve to be able to do them pain-free and with confidence. You were made to move, and we are here to help you get back to the active lifestyle you love.

YOUTH ATHLETES: Kids today train hard. There's no doubt that the physical demands put on youth athletes today are rigorous. As youth athletes go through their athletic development, they need a coach and medical practitioner who understand what they are going through. They need someone who understands how to reduce the risk of injury and start building resilience and strength so they can perform at their best and avoid missing time on the field.

ATHLETES: From ultra running to CrossFit to rock climbing, although the sport of choice may vary, the frustration and agony caused by limited mobility, injury, and pain are the same. As athletes ourselves, we understand and are committed to getting you back to your peak performance as soon and as safely as possible. Using cutting-edge therapy, collaboration with local gyms, and individualized plans, we work towards building stronger, more resilient bodies.
