I define Sports Performance Training as developing an athlete to get to the next level. Hit a plateau? Keep getting injured? Congratulations, these are all signs you've graduated to the next level! Seriously though, these are often symptoms that an athlete has gained what they could from basic workouts, training techniques, and barbell movements and has graduated to the next level. The athlete now needs to utilize more advanced and targeted training methodologies to keep seeing progress.

WANT TO KNOW MORE...

I've been in the industry for ~25 years as a competitor, coach, and mentor. During that time, I have attained knowledge that only top-tier professionals in the industry know. Now, I consider myself a Performance Coach. It's my job to get my athletes in shape, feeling good, and ready to perform. Where do you need to increase performance in your life? Do you want to be faster/more explosive for sports? I got you. Tired of the way you look and want to get JACKED and CONFIDENT!? Just say the word. More glutes, bigger arms, bench more, lose fat..? I'm your man.

I go to every length and look at all 24 hrs of my athlete's day to ensure they are successful. I assess prior experience, individual biomechanics, nutrition, sleep, digestion, and stress management to keep them progressing daily, weekly, month-by-month, and year after year.

I look for two things in a client...
1. The athlete's openness and willingness to trust the process. Hit a plateau? Keep getting injured? Congratulations, you've graduated to the next level! Seriously though, these are often symptoms that an athlete has gained what they could from basic workouts, training techniques, and barbell movements. I've found the athlete's willingness to let go of the baggage of their past training, then accept the process of graduating to the next level will ultimately determine how successful they will be with their training moving forward. To put it another way - What got them to where they are, won't carry them across the finish line. Ultimately, the athlete needs to be ready and willing to LEVEL THE F*** UP!

2. The athlete's intent - "Are we Training or Working Out?" Working Out is a random approach to fitness without any direction toward specific goals, while training is a carefully crafted fitness plan targeted at specific results. I expect my athletes to Train!

If a client meets these two criteria, it's a match! It doesn't matter if you're 30 years in or just started today. LET'S GO!
